About Kyle Morey

Louisville-bred and southern Indiana educated (graduate of IU), Kyle Morey, President and CEO of the Madison County Chamber, is currently helping Madison County be seen, heard, and famous through idea generation, entrepreneurial programs, event programming, lead generation, mission statement planning, marketing and economic gardening.

Kyle’s career path began as a part owner and director of business development with a high profile start up called LeapFrog Interactive. Armed with business cards and a quick smile, Kyle built a platform of business opportunities, mergers & acquisitions, and a solid network of alliances placing LeapFrog as the premier web design firm in the region. It was here that he acquired the skill and talent of proactive communication.

Kyle Morey went on to labor for four years as VP of Programs & Services at the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce in Arizona. Known in Scottsdale as Mr. Microphone, Kyle would command an audience and motivate people to action – whether members, volunteers or salespeople. Under his leadership, the Scottsdale Chamber achieved its highest membership gains in their 60-year history – more than 600 new members in a single year! Through these experiences, an innovative thinker was born.

Upon return to his hometown, Kyle merged with One Southern Indiana in June of 2007 and quickly went to work implementing what he calls his three-pronged strategy to profit: the right PEOPLE, define your PROCESSES, and develop your PROFIT PLAN. Thanks to his tactic and the efforts of his team, One Southern Indiana broke all-time records in new member acquisitions, retention, and non dues revenue including the most new members in a year’s time (400 in one year), the most in sponsorships and advertising sales, and the highest retention level in 20 years.
